RC Programs
The RC programs are a natural progression of our work with teens and families experiencing unplanned pregnancies and parenting struggles. Youth today are growing up in a world that is increasingly complex and stressful; we help them navigate it successfully. Our presenters are experienced youth workers and are committed to sharing their own life experiences to back up presentation content.
Program Focus
- RC Programs focus on empowering youth and equipping them to build healthy relationships and set healthy boundaries
- There are currently 7 workshops available within the Relationship Compass programs
Program Format
- Workshops – we offer 1 -2 hour workshops that can stand alone or be presented as a series over a number of weeks
- Retreats – a full day retreat offers comprehensive coverage of all curriculum topics within a given workshop
- All presentations are active, interactive and designed to promote discussion
- Material is communicated through games / media clips / personal stories / visual aids / breakaway sessions
- We take a team teaching approach – whenever possible our facilitators work as a guy / girl team, providing youth with role models of both genders
- All presentations reflect current research
- Faith based presentations will begin and end with prayer, and we invite participants to see relationships via the blueprint of the Creator
- Faith based presentations are backed by scripture
